GIRLS BASKETBALL RANKINGS
Bethlehem Catholic opens the winter atop the rankings, rattling off eight straight victories after a season-opening loss to Scranton Prep. Central Catholic is next, also dropping an out-of-league result (Episcopal Academy), but rolling over local opposition. Unbeaten Nazareth (No. 3) has dominated everyone in its path so far and gets its biggest test to date Saturday against the Vikings. Phillipsburg starts at No. 4 after handing Easton (No. 5) its first loss on Monday. Undefeated Salisbury is the first Colonial League representative at No. 6. The rest of the top Colonial teams fill in 7-10 based on head-to-head results.
