  • Newtown Kindness Award Presentation: Christian Bucks, a second grader from York, Pa., will be honored on-field for his creation of the "Buddy Bench," a bench where kids can go if they are feeling lonely or need someone to play with. Bucks hopes to help eliminate bullying nationwide as Buddy Benches are appearing across the country. This award was established by the family of Charlotte Bacon who lost her life in the Newtown, CT school tragedy and honors kids for coming up with ideas to show acts of kindness.
  • MLB Honorary Bat Girl. Terry Moser, from Toms River, NJ, a breast cancer survivor will be accompanied by her best friend, Donna Grocki, who nominated her for the honor.
