BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Playing its final four-game stretch of the regular season, the Lehigh baseball team dropped a pair of games to Navy in a Patriot League doubleheader Saturday. The Mountain Hawks’ 5-3 loss in game one cost them a chance at postseason play while the 6-1 defeat in the nightcap made them 18-27 overall and 5-13 in league play.

“They out executed us today and it’s disappointing,” Lehigh head coach Sean Leary said. “We worked so hard to get to the playoffs and when you know it’s not going to happen it’s a tough day, but they were the better team today.”

The program honored its four graduating seniors---Steven Ball, Tom O’Malley, Cameron Phillips and Casey Turner---in an on-field ceremony prior to game one. Three of the four players were members of the last Lehigh squad to earn a Patriot League Tournament berth in 2010.
