http://sportsmediajournal.com/ CBS Sits Down with Pagano for NFL Today- CBS Sports reports that this Sunday’s edition of the NFL Today will feature an interview with Colts head coach Chuck Pagano conducted by Greg Gumbel. Pagano returns to the sidelines this week after being being stricken with leukemia and receiving treatment wince week 3. The Sun Bowl on CBS- There are only a handful of college bowl games NOT on ESPN. One is the Sun Bowl, which has had a 45-year history on CBS. This year’s telecast will take place Monday, December 31st at 2:00p.m. ET as Verne Lundquist, Gary Danielson, and Tracey Wolfson have the call as USC takes on Georgia Tech from El Paso, TX. Clippers/Nuggets Next NBA TV Fan Night Presentation- NBA TV has announced that the LA Clippers at Denver Nuggets will be this Tuesday’s Fan Night telecast. Tip-off is 9:00p.m. ET. Fans can vote on the following games to be the Fan Night telecast for January 8th: Brooklyn Nets @ Philadelphia 76ers; Miami Heat @ Indiana Pacers; Phoenix Suns @ Milwaukee Bucks; Los Angeles Lakers @ Houston Rockets; orAtlanta Hawks @ Minnesota Timberwolves. ESPN Reiterates Strong NBA Ratings On Christmas- ESPN has released more information on its NBA ratings success this Christmas. The three games on ESPN has an average audience of 2.8 million viewers with an average rating of 2.0, up 10% and 11% repectively from 2010. The ratings for the prime time telecasts- Rockets at Bulls and Nuggets at Clippers- had ratings increases of 31% and 25% over 2010.
