Both North Parkland and Lower Mac Youth Legion teams are in the regional finals

http://blogs.mcall.com/groller/ FROM KEITH GROLLER Both Lower Mac and North Parkland won their respective winner's bracket finals on Monday, leaving both teams as the only undefeated teams left among four survivors in their respective Youth Legion baseball regional tournametns. Lower Mac is playing in a regional at Boyertown and North Parkland is playing in a regional at Kutztown. Both teams play again today. Lower Mac, a 5-3 winner over Yardley/Morrisville on Monday, will playRoxborough at 4 p.m. today, while Yardley/Morrisville plays Central. If Lower Mac wins today, the winner of the other game would have to beat Lower Mac twice on Wednesday to win the regional title. If Lower Mac loses today, Roxborough would play the winner of the other game at 11 a.m. tomorrow and that winner would play Lower Mac in a one-and-done championship game at 2 p.m. tomorrow. In the Kutztown regional, North Parkland beat Spring City 5-2 on Monday and now faces Red Lion at 7 tonight. Spring City plays Avon Grove in another game at 4. Again, just like in the other regional, if North Parkland beats Red Lion, the winner of the Spring City/Avon Grove game would have to beat North Parkland twice on Weds. However, if North Parkland loses to Red Lion, then the Spring City/Avon Grove winner would play at 11 a.m. tomorrow and that winner would play North Parkland for the championship at 2 p.m. The winners of each regional advance to the state tournament next week in Shillington.
