http://sportsmediajournal.com/ Champions League Final Second-Most Watched Ever for Fox- Fox Sports saw solid viewership for the 2012 UEFA Champions League Final. The match between Chelsea and Bayern Munich earned Fox a rating of 1.1 with an audience of two million viewers, making it the second most watch final ever. Last year’s final between Manchester United and Barcelona was the most watched Champion’s League Final, earning a 1.4 rating and audience of 2.6 million viewers. Game Six of NHL Eastern Conference Finals Friday Night on NBCSN- The NBC Sports Network (NBCSN) will have coverage of Game Six of he NHL Eastern Conference Finals between the New York Rangers and New Jersey Devils. Mike ‘Doc’ Emrick, Eddie Olczyk and Pierre McGuire will call the action beginning at 8:00p.m. ET ESPN to Televise the NBA Draft Lottery from ABC’s Times Square Studios- ESPN will be the place to view the 2012 NBA Draft Lottery. The event will take place next Wednesday, May 30th beginning at 8:00p.m. ET, just prior to Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Finals. The Draft Lottery will be held for the first time at ABC’s Times Square Studios in New York City. Mark Jones and college basketball analyst Jay Bilas will host ESPN’s Draft Lottery coverage with Heather Cox reporting. In addition, analysts Magic Johnson, Jon Barry, Michael Wilbon and Chris Broussard will provide reaction and offer insights. Coca-Cola 600 This Sunday on Fox- Fox Sports is prepping for coverage of the NASCAR Sprint Cup Coca-Cola 600 this Sunday from Charlotte. Chris Myers, Michael Waltrip, and Darrell Waltrip will have pre-race analysis beginning at 5:30p.m. Sunday. Mike Joy, Darrell Waltrip, and Larry McReynolds will call the race while Dick Berggren, Steve Byrnes, Krista Voda and Matt Yocum report from the pits. NBC’s Coverage of the French Open- NBC Sports will produce 20 hours of live tennis action from the French Open. Action begins this Sunday at Noon ET. Ted Robinson anchors NBC’s coverage, joined by analysts John McEnroe and Mary Carillo. SiriusXM Radio to Broadcast NCAA Men’s Lacrosse Championship- SiriusXM Radio will be the satellite radio home to this weekend’s NCAA Men’s Division I Lacrosse Championship. Live play-by-play of the semifinal and final matchups, plus pre- and post-match coverage, will be available to SiriusXM listeners on SiriusXM College Sports Nation, channel 91. Coverage begins Saturday at 1:00p.m. with Inside College Lacrosse hosted by Paul Mittermeier and all-time NCAA Division I leading scorer Matt Danowski. ESPN to Continue to Televise Hot Dog Eating Contest Through 2017- ESPN announced today that it has extended its agreement with Major League Eating which will grant the network exclusive coverage of the Nathan’s Famous Fourth of July Hot Dog Eating Contest through the year 2017. This year’s event will be televised live on ESPN on Wednesday, July 4, at 3:00 p.m. ET.
