IRONPIGS RETURN HOME TONIGHT!

The first-place IronPigs, winners of each of their first seven home games this season, return to Coca-Cola Park tonight to begin an unprecedented stretch of 13 consecutive home dates. The homestand includes this season's most sought after giveaways such as bobbleheads of Rich Thompson and Vance Worley and one-of-a-kind bronze statues of Ryne Sandberg and Harry Kalas. The overstuffed homestand begins on Monday at 7:05 p.m. against the Buffalo Bisons with a Rich Thompson bobblehead giveaway presented by Coca-Cola for the first 3,000 fans 18 and older. Arguably the most popular player to have ever donned a Lehigh Valley IronPigs uniform, Thompson is currently in his record-setting fifth season with the club and is the franchise leader in a glut of categories including stolen bases (127), runs (238), hits (425) and games played (439). Thompson excelled under Ryne Sandberg's tutelage in 2011, swiping a league-best 48 bases while scoring a league-high 81 runs. At the end of last season, Thompson's 435 career stolen bases ranked third among all active Minor Leaguers. There will also be a Morning Call pre-game autograph session with select IronPigs players from 6 to 6:20 p.m. on the main concourse. On Monday only, be sure to pick up a collector's photo at Coca-Cola Park featuring IronPigs' Domonic Brown and Dave Bush.
