HEALING ARTS: The Second Annual Hope & Healing Juried Art Show for high school students will conclude with an awards ceremony and silent auction 5:30-8:30 p.m. April 5 at the State Theatre Center for the Arts Brown-Daub Gallery in Easton. The nonprofit group Healing Through The Arts will donate works by students at nine area schools to hospitals for patient rooms or treatment areas, illustrating the connection between art and healing. LAUNCH PARTY: The public is invited to join Mayor Ed Pawlowski and members of the Allentown Chamber of Commerce at a party 5:30-7:30 p.m. April 19 at Lehigh Valley Grand Prix, 649 S. 10th St., Allentown. AWARDS LUNCHEON: A luncheon program honoring Rebecca "Becky" Gorton and Tony and Rosann Salvaggio with the Edward and Inez Donley Award for Children's Advocacy awarded by Community Services for Children takes place 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. April 19 at the Sands Casino Resort Bethlehem Conference Center.
