GIRL SCOUTS OF EASTERN PENNSYLVANIA needs volunteers to make a difference in a girl's life and to share their skills and talents. Flexible schedules and training. HAWK MOUNTAIN SANCTUARY, Kempton needs volunteers for buildings and grounds maintenance for the spring and summer for general maintenance of property and trails and to work in the Native Plant Garden. MORAVIAN HALL SQUARE, Nazareth needs volunteers that can play an instrument, sing or act to help seniors use their skills in a musical or entertainment group. Contact: Peggy Hanzelman, 610-746-1334.

PHOEBE ALLENTOWN HEALTHCARE CENTER is in need of volunteers to serve as wheelchair transporters for in-house programs such as therapy, clinics, beauty shop, activities and special events. Hours are: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. weekdays and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekends. Volunteer support is needed 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily in the memory support neighborhoods to assist with activities and programs. Training provided. Minimum age: 13 or completed seventh grade. PROJECT BLUEPRINT, the Volunteer Center is seeking racially diverse volunteers for its upcoming minority volunteer leadership program. Project Blueprint develops and trains volunteers to serve on local nonprofit committees and boards. The seven session program, which covers topics related to board membership and leadership skills, will be held 5:30-8:30 p.m. Mondays beginning March 19. SIXTH STREET SHELTER, Allentown is looking for a volunteer to assist our administrative assistant to answer phones, operate the apartment buzzer, assist residents with mail and necessities and provide appropriate information to people inquiring about services. The office is open 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. daily; volunteer shifts are flexible. Ability to understand or speak Spanish helpful, but not required. ST. LUKE'S HOSPITAL, Quakertown needs patient ambassadors to visit new admissions on Thursdays and Fridays and pastoral care visitors to visit new admissions on Wednesdays and Fridays.
