Three Performers Kick off Three Show Week

Wednesday, May 18 | 7:30 p.m. Plume Giant with Anthony De Costa and Brittany Ann Tranbaugh. A retro folk trio with no frontman, just guitar, violin, viola, and three voices, Plume Giant is touring with Anthony De Costa in support of their Devil's Honey Tour, which has them playing seven shows over nine days in six states along the east coast. Visit their web site here. Guitarist Anthony De Costa was named an 'emerging artist of the year' and one of the top 5 up & coming singers. He has two critically acclaimed CD's and is working on his latest studio project in NYC. Brittany Ann is a Martin wielding folk singer-songwriter from Easton, who now lives in Philadelphia and who will open for Plume Giant. She performed at the Center this January. Tickets $10.00

Friday, May 20 | 8:00 p.m.Elisha Kane with Boog. Elisha Kane (pronounced like Elijah), a new comer to the Philadelphia songwriter circle, will be joined by Kyle Simmons, "Boog". Elisha is a dreamer and an optimist, he writes lyrics that are honest and straightforward. Elisha hails from Phoenixville, PA which is home to an abundance of musicians, songwriters and artists alike. It's this environment that helped shape the songwriter he is today. Influenced by many popular Folk, Country, Rock and Alternative songwriters, Elisha Kane hopes to make his mark. Free Admission, $10 Donation Suggested.

Saturday, May 21, 2011 | 8:00. Jordan White returns to his hometown to perform for the first time at the Center. His music is alternative, acoustic-confessional, progressive rock influenced by artists such as Jackson Browne, Guns N' Roses, Counting Crows, Van Morrison, Tom Petty, Led Zeppelin, Ritchie Valens and The Clash. White was a 2007 finalist in the Lehigh Valley Acoustic Competition, and in August 2010, was nominated for three 2010 Lehigh Valley Music Awards for Best Songwriter, Best Lyricist, and Best Band Website, being chosen amongst 3,000 other fan and industry nominees. $10 Ticket
