See a Central Catholic player ask Regina Potocnie to the prom; plus a salute to CCHS on "Calling All Sports" TV Show

FROM KEITH GROLLER

Several members of Central Catholic's football team were on the latest edition of The Morning Call's "Calling All Sports" TV show which is taped every Monday at Service Electric in Allentown.

While there for the taping, the Vikings' Jared Pitts asked Service Electric's Regina Potocnie to the CCHS senior prom. Never mind that Regina got married this past summer.

Connor Faust, who was also on the show, recorded the proposal on his cell phone and Service Electric's "Sports Scene" show will have the footage tonight at 6 and 9:30. I don't know if Regina said yes or not. I may watch to find out.

As for the "Calling All Sports" show, head coach Harold Fairclough and Pitts, Faust, Shane McNeely and Jack Sandherr joined Stephen Miller and myself to discuss the 16-0 season, especially Friday night's remarkable 28-27 win over Bishop McDevitt for PIAA 3A gold.

The show can be seen at 8 p.m. tonight (Monday) on Service Electric TV2 and also at 6 p.m. Tuesday on RCN-4.

In addition, PCN will replay the CCHS-Bishop McDevitt game at 6 tonight and again on Christmas Day at 8:20.

Service Electric will reshow the memorable game on both Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon, both days at 3 p.m.
