"Replay," the program that featured Easton and Phillipsburg thirtysomethings who suited up last year for a rematch of their 1993 high school game, has been nominated for a Sports Emmy.

The show was nominated in the oustanding new approaches in sports programming (short format) category. Fox Sports Net aired the documentary, segments of which were initially found on Gatorade's Web site.

Gatorade organized the rematch, which pitted players from both schools whose teams tied 7-7 in the annual Thanksgiving Day game in 1993. Phillipsburg won the rematch 27-12. It was played last April 26 at the original site -- Lafayette College's Fisher Stadium.

Others nominated in the category were "Countdown to Vancouver" by NBCOlympics.com; "Red Bull -- New Year. No Limits," by Red Bull/USA.com; "Ring Life," by HBO.com and HBO Sports; and "Sincerely, Lou," by ESPN.com.

The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences will hold the annual Sports Emmy Awards on April 26 -- the anniversary of the Replay game -- in Los Angeles.
