PARTY SATURDAY

The Morning Call reports in its "In Your Town" section:
NAZARETH COMMUNITY BLOCK PARTY will be held noon to 4 p.m. Saturday on Prospect Street, between Broad and Spruce streets. The event will mark the 150th anniversaries of St. John's Lutheran Church and St. John's United Church of Christ. Party will feature food, entertainment and children's activities. Proceeds benefit Nazareth Area Food Bank.
JACOBSBURG HISTORICAL SOCIETY, 402 Henry Road, Nazareth, will hold the open hearth cooking class, ''Herbs: Beyond Potpourri and Seasonings,'' 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday. Participants must be 21 or older. The cost is $30. To register, call 610-759-9029
