HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL KIDS HONORED

BREAKING NEWS:

Maxwell Football Club President, Ron Jaworski, announced the fifty players to be honored as Mini Max Award Winners as selected by the Club’s High School Advisory Committee. The Mini Max Award is presented to football players in the Greater Philadelphia region who exhibit excellent academics, outstanding football performance and a strong commitment to community service. The Maxwell Club will select one player from this group of 50 to receive the Club’s prestigious Jim Henry Award as the regional Player of the Year. Past Jim Henry Award winners include current Carolina Panther linebacker Dan Connor (Strath Haven H.S., Penn State); Pat Devlin (Downingtown East, Penn State); Ryan Greiser, (Pennridge, Liberty University); Dan Persa (Liberty, Northwestern).
The Maxwell Football Club has presented the Jim Henry Award since 1984 and has honnored high school football players in the Philadelphia area since 1937. The winner of this year’s Jim Henry Award will be announced at the Maxwell Club’s Awards dinner on Jan. 15 at the Drexelbook Caterers in Drexel Hill.
