Penn Stoners Soccer Update on the Postponed game on July 20

The Stoners and their fans managed a major disappointment yesterday as the New York Athletic Club refused to wait out the thunderstorms for a late night contest. The NPSL league rules allow the officials to consider the team’s needs (early morning work commitments) and agreed to cancel the game at 9:15pm. As the fans headed home under cool, clearing skies, the Stoners’ Management immediately started rescheduling activity to get the game played.

NYAC have not yet agreed to a date, and Stoners Management is pushing for this coming weekend at JBC Stadium. ALL tickets sold for the double header - Northampton Laurels, or Pennsylvania Stoners, will be honored at the rematch.

As a special thank you to Stoners’ fans who have loyally supported the team throughout the season all kids 14 and under will be admitted free of charge (give your ticket to your older brother or sister). Come on fans, let’s get a huge turnout at JBC and show New York how to put on a game!

Watch the Stoners’ Web-site and the Morning call for the Match schedule update, we will post the information as soon as the game date and time is coordinated.
Let’s go Stoners !!
